The Bishop Residence is a thoughtful spatial intervention designed to bring lasting character and contemporary comfort to an existing structure. Rather than a standard renovation, this project is a complete redefinition of space. Here, the timeless elegance of a French Provincial facade establishes a silent dialogue with a warm, minimalist interior that feels deeply intentional.

The interior design focuses on an honest harmony of materials and textures. We selected herringbone wood flooring and natural timber elements to introduce movement and warmth, while the custom integrated furniture preserves the purity of a clean minimalist outline. Soft earth tones and specific architectural details, such as the rounded timber column in the living area or the sage green paneling in the main bedroom, create subtle points of interest. Every choice is balanced. The main bedroom becomes a quiet refuge of calm, utilizing indirect lighting and pure lines to achieve refinement without showiness.

​The architectural strategy follows three main intentions. First, natural light becomes a central material, enhanced through a new configuration of openings and strategic skylights that react to the rhythm of the day. Second, the layout feels fluid and connected, freeing the interior distribution to encourage social interaction between the kitchen, living, and dining spaces. Finally, the exterior interpretation respects tradition through a clean white finish and an elegant grey roof, balancing heritage with a modern European perspective. Impeccable. Warm. Timeless.
