Nestled at the base of the Sierra de Gredos, this 100 square meter mountain retreat has been thoroughly restructured to prioritize silent, high-end comfort and an uninterrupted connection to the native landscape.

The spatial intervention was conceptualized to dissolve the boundaries between the interior and the surrounding peaks. Upon entry, a generous, open-plan social core welcomes the day with expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows that capture the rugged beauty of the mountains. The layout flows naturally from a quiet fireplace living area toward a perfectly integrated reading and study workspace.

The atmosphere is defined by an honest, strictly curated material palette. Warm oak cladding on walls and bespoke integrated furniture provide a tactile, rustic envelope that balances against the clean, contemporary precision of textured Roman travertine stone. Every design decision, from the selection of minimalist lighting elements to the seamless alignment of raw plaster, works in service of an understated, warm retreat designed for slow living.
